Iced Chocolate Recipe
Our real chocolate flakes aren't just for hot chocolates. You can also use them to make chilled, light iced chocolates at home.
Iced chocolates are quick and easy to make - start with a small, strong hot chocolate, top up with cold milk and pour over ice cubes.
Ingredients + equipment:
Start by making a small hot chocolate. Add milk up to level 2 in your shaker (about 100ml), then add 5 teaspoons of your favourite % chocolate flakes.
Put the shaker in the microwave (without the lid) for half a minute. Or, you can heat your milk on the hob and add it to the flakes in the shaker.
Put the lid on the shaker, making sure it’s pressed down, and then secure the lid fully. Shake for 10 seconds or until all the flakes melt.
Then top up with cold milk. Add some ice cubes to your shaker, give your drink another quick shake, then pour and enjoy your iced chocolate.
Using a different hot chocolate maker?
You can also use hot chocolate makers to make iced chocolates. Use the quantitites above to make a small strong hot chocolate in your maker, pour over a glass with the remaining mik and ice, then stir.
