Knoops loyalty terms

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. By accessing or using this programme, you agree to be bound by the terms described herein and all terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to all these terms, you should not participate in this programme.

These Terms and Conditions apply to your access to, and participation in, the Knoops loyalty programme which in the United Kingdom is operated by Knoops Holdings Limited or its affiliated companies, herein referred to as “Knoops”. These Terms and Conditions do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement you may have with Knoops for products, services or otherwise.

Knoops reserves the right to change, modify and/or eliminate Knoops loyalty and/or these Terms and Conditions or any policy, FAQ, or guideline pertaining to Knoops loyalty at any time and in its sole discretion. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the revisions to www.knoops.co.uk and you waive any right you may have to receive specific notice of such changes or modifications. Your continued participation in Knoops loyalty will confirm your acceptance of such changes or modifications; therefore, you should review these Terms and Conditions and applicable policies frequently to understand the terms and conditions that apply to Knoops loyalty. If you do not agree to the amended terms, you must stop participating in Knoops loyalty.

This programme is not targeted towards, nor intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. Please read the Privacy Policy carefully to understand how Knoops collects, uses and discloses information about its customers.

How it works

Knoops loyalty is in place to reward and thank loyal members for purchasing Knoops chocolate drinks and retail products.

When you opt in to Knoops loyalty, you will earn 1 point for every £1 spent in Knoops store and online.

You must download the app and link your online account (with the same email address) in order to earn loyalty points. It will not be possible to earn points on an order placed prior to joining the Knoops loyalty programme.

A member may only register one account. Knoops can delete any duplication.

A member can earn a maximum of 400 points.

Loyalty points will expire after 12 months. Where possible, we will try and notify you in advance that your points are about to expire but, in any case, it is your responsibility to make sure you use your points before they expire. Expired points cannot be redeemed or reinstated to the app or online profile.

Points

Points will always be rounded down to the nearest whole number when earning.

Points are linked to the email address and phone number you have opted into Knoops loyalty with. Your QR code must be scanned in store, and you must be logged into your account prior to placing your order. Knoops are not responsible for any points missed for any transaction.

A Member will receive a birthday reward once a year. Birthday rewards can only be redeemed in store. Any accounts looking to obtain bonus points untruthfully will be banned from Knoops loyalty.

A Member will not be able to change their date of birth on the App once submitted. In the case of accidently submitting the wrong date of birth, app@knoops.co.uk may be contacted to assist. Each Member represents that they will not fraudulently change their date of birth on the website or the app.

Points are non-transferrable and cannot be shared with friends and family or transferred to a different account.

Points can be redeemed in-store or online. Redemption options will differ depending on if the member is redeeming in store or online. There is no monetary value for your points. Knoops is entitled to change these redemptions as they see fit.

Points will not be earned when purchasing a gift-card, gift packaging, hot chocolate maker or coffee machine

Points can't be earned through delivery apps e.g. Deliveroo.

If you receive a refund, on a purchase that you earned points, the points earned will be deducted from your balance.

Knoops reserve the right to refuse service in circumstance that could effect our team's safety and security. Bad behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated.

Knoops reserves the right to amend the point scheme at any time, or withhold customer’s from earning or redeeming further points. Knoops also reserve the right to turn off the app or online loyalty at any time, with no monetary reimbursement required for points accumulated.

Coffee Club Terms & Conditions

Receive 50% off selected coffees at all Knoops stores when ordering through the loyalty app before the 31^st of December 2024.

This offer is available from store opening until 12pm (midday) and orders must be placed through the app.
Drinks will be automatically discounted, users do not need a voucher or offer
Users must be logged in to redeem 50% coffee
Order collection needs to be before 12pm
Any additional costs, such as extras, will be charged for
Selected coffees include: Espresso, Macchiato, Americano, Latte, Flat White, Cappuccino, Iced Americano and Ice Latte
This does not include matcha, tea or chocolate
This offer is not activated when scanning a loyalty QR code and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion/discount

Knoops reserves the right to remove this offer at any time. Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion, voucher or discount.

Refer a friend

Knoops app users can receive bonus points when new signups use their refer a friend code through the app.

Both referee and refer will receive 15 bonus points once the referee has placed their first order through the app
The order must be placed on the app and will not be triggered when scanning a QR code
The order must have be a minimum of £3

Free drink on download

A free drink voucher is issued when downloading the Knoops loyalty app as a first-time user.

Free drinks are only valid on new app signups and can only be used once at selected stores (excludes Bristol and Exeter)
The order needs to be placed through the app and is not valid when scanning your QR code
The offer is only valid on small iced or hot chocolates drinks (excludes mochas)
The offer amount cannot be used to upgrade a drink size or type
Extras such as marshmallows, cream, herbs and spices are chargeable
The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the terms of this offer at any time
This offer is not transferable and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion/discount
Knoops reserves the right to block any fraudulent accounts without notice

Birthday Points

The free drink is only valid through our app and once you have made your first purchase of £3
The voucher will be valid for a maximum of 2 weeks of the year – the week before your birthday and the week after
The free drink is valid on a small hot or iced chocolate
If the signup has been within the week before your birthday you will need to spend a minimum of £3 before your birthday and this will trigger the voucher which will expire one week after the date of birth
Birthday drinks can only be issued once a year and date of births cannot be updated once submitted
Birthday vouchers are not triggered when scanning your app in store and only once an order has been placed through the app
This offer is only valid from the 23rd of September 2024 and any birthdays/points issued prior to this date are not eligible for the free drink until the users next birthday

Student Discount

Students can receive 15% off all barista-made drinks in store when ordering through the Knoops loyalty app

Students will need to apply through the Knoops student verification form and submit their valid student cards for verification
15% discount applied on all barista-made drinks when ordering through the app. This discount cannot be applied in store and can not scanned
Digital cards, Student beans or Unidays cards will not be accepted
Students must submit a picture of their physical cards with all four corners visible
Expired cards will not be accepted
Enter the email with the email you have the app account with. Don't use apple sign in – your account will not be synced
Student discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion/discount
Knoops reserves the right to remove this offer at any time without notice
