Ingredients + equipment (makes 1 medium drink):
Start by making a small hot chocolate. Add milk up to level 2 in your shaker (about 100ml), then add 5 teaspoons of 70% Extra dark chocolate flakes.
Put the shaker in the microwave (without the lid) for half a minute. Or, you can heat your milk on the hob and add it to the flakes in the shaker.
Put the lid on the shaker, making sure the top is pressed down, and then secure the lid fully. Shake for 10 seconds or until all the flakes melt.
Grate and add half a teaspoon of fresh ginger.
Top up with cold milk.
For iced chocolates - Add some ice cubes to your shaker, give your drink another quick shake, then pour and enjoy.
For milkshakes - Add 3 small scoops of ice cream, shake and then taste. You can add more ice cream depending on your taste preferences. Make sure to add small scoops or teaspoons of ice cream so that it melts properly.
Give your drink another quick shake, then pour and enjoy your ginger chocolate milkshake.
