Chocolate affogato
A twist on the classic Italian dessert.
We've melted our 72% Extra Dark chocolate flakes with a shot of coffee to create a thick chocolate sauce to pour over vanilla ice cream in our version of an affogato.
This recipe comes our founder Jens's cookbook that's full of 60 different sweet and savoury chocolate recipes.
Ingredients:
- 72% Extra dark hot chocolate flakes
- 1 single espresso / 20ml coffee
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
Add 6 teaspoons of 72% Extra dark chocolate flakes to a bowl.
Pour over the hot espresso or coffee and whisk together to melt the chocolate, until you have a thick chocolate sauce.
Add the ice cream to a bowl or serving dish, pour the chocolate over the ice cream and enjoy your Knoops chocolate affogato.
