Jens says: I recommend adding one of our handmade marshmallows and whipped cream to give you the full 'hug in a mug' experience.
History: The Swiss chocolatier Daniel Peter created the first milk chocolate in 1876, by dehydrating milk produced by the creamery next door and adding it to his chocolate.
Heat 200ml of milk (1 large mug) - frothed milk works best for the authentic Knoops taste. Add 8 tsp of chocolate flakes and stir until fully dissolved.
Simple: Sea salt
Method: Add a pinch of sea salt to your heated hot chocolate and stir, before pouring out.
Adventurous: Pink pepper or thyme
Method: Add 1 tsp of lightly crushed pink pepper to your heated hot chocolate and stir, before pouring out. Or, add a sprig of thyme to your heated hot chocolate and stir, then let it steep for 1 minute before pouring out through a strainer.
