Salted caramel hot chocolate recipe
A simple recipe that uses our award winning, single origin 43% Milk hot chocolate flakes + sea salt.
Sea salt accentuates the caramel notes of the 43% Milk chocolate, and gives you the taste of salted caramel in your hot chocolate.
Ingredients + equipment (makes 1 medium cup):
Instructions - to make on the hob or microwave:
Heat 200ml (about one large mug) of milk in a saucepan on the hob, or in a large mug in the microwave. Make sure it doesn’t boil as this will affect the taste.
Add around 8 teaspoons of 43% Milk hot chocolate flakes. You can experiment with the quantity of flakes based on your taste.
Add a pinch of sea salt.
Stir until your flakes have fully melted.
Pour into a hot chocolate bowl or your favourite mug and enjoy your salted caramel hot chocolate.
