Before we start you will need: 34% milk chocolate buttons, your choice of milk (cows, oat, almond, soya or coconut), a saucepan, a whisk, thyme and pink pepper.
Heat 175ml of your preferred milk and stir in 8tsps of 34% milk chocolate flakes.
Stir well until fully dissolved.
Add 1 tsp of pink pepper, lightly crushed to release flavour, and add 1 sprig of thyme.
Stir again and let it steep for 1 minute before you pour the hot chocolate through a strainer into your favourite mug.

Next, put the milk into the Knoopifier (we recommend 175ml for one cup.
Add your chocolate buttons (we recommend 34g – approx. 5 teaspoons).
Crush 1 tsp of pink pepper lightly to release the flavour and then add.
Put the lid on the Knoopifier and press the button four times (to the hot choc symbol).
The Knoopifier takes two minutes to make the perfect hot chocolate. Once completed, take out the chocolate system and add 1 sprig of thyme into the jug.
Stir well and let it steep for about 1 minute before you strain the hot chocolate into your favourite mug.
