Make a small, strong hot chocolate in the shaker by microwaving 5 teaspoons of flakes in milk (up to the level 2 mark, without the lid on).
With the lid firmly on and pushed down, #ShakeYourFlakes for 10 seconds, then top up with cold milk.
Zest half a teaspoon of orange and add to your shaker (we recommend giving your orange a quick soak in hot water followed by a scrub with a vegetable brush to get rid of any wax and impurities).
Add ice cubes for an iced chocolate, or ice cream - about three teaspoons - for a milkshake.
Put your lid back on firmly, then give another good shake to make sure your drink is velvety smooth, then pour and enjoy.
Before you start:
Grab your 34% chocolate flakes, milk (dairy or non), a zester, an orange, and a saucepan, chocolate shaker or hot chocolate maker.
Give your orange a quick soak in hot water followed by a scrub with a vegetable brush to get rid of any wax and impurities. Then zest half a teaspoon from the top of the skin, making sure not to go too deep.
On the hob:
Heat 200ml of milk on the hob, taking care not to let it boil (this will affect the taste).
Stir though eight teaspoons of 34% milk chocolate flakes, then add your orange zest.
Continue stirring until your chocolate flakes have fully melted. Pour into your favourite mug and enjoy.
Using a hot chocolate maker:
Add 200ml of milk to your hot chocolate maker, followed by eight teaspoons of 34% milk chocolate flakes and your orange zest.
Press start on your maker. When the cycle has finished, pour your frothy hot chocolate and enjoy.
In the shaker:
Fill your shaker with milk up to the level 7 mark and heat in the microwave (without the lid on).
Add eight teaspoons of 34% milk chocolate flakes and your orange zest.
Securely put the lid on your shaker and make sure the top is pushed down.
Shake for 10 seconds - the top may expand during the shake - then pour and enjoy your smooth, frothy hot chocolate.
